Two killed after shooting in Napa, ‘surprised’ neighbors react
(KRON) – Two people have died after being shot in Napa on Saturday, according to the Napa Police Department. Napa Central Dispatch received a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Riverside Drive at 8:10 p.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers located two victims in the street who suffered from at least one gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived at the scene to assist. One of the victims succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. The second victim died at the hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time. Neighbors tell KRON4 they want it known this kind of stuff doesn’t happen in this neighborhood.
Neighbor Guadalupe Manzo said her neighborhood is a safe place
“For me, it’s a safe place to live,” Manzo said. “I was surprised when I found out about it.”
Another neighbor, Frank Fardella, said he heard the gunshots. He also said the two victims were two teenage girls.
“Unfortunately, we lost two young people,” Fardella said. “I just know they’re from Napa and their lives were cut short.”
Jose Ortiz was just feet from the shooting and says he’s still in shock.
“It’s pretty crazy because stuff like that doesn’t happen around here,” Ortiz said. “It’s a pretty calm area. I been here two years, and I never really seen stuff like that.”
