2 women charged with shooting near Jane M. Bryne Interchange in Chicago

CHICAGO — Two women from Chicago have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting Saturday morning near the Jane M. Bryne Interchange, according to Illinois State Police.

Around 9:45 a.m., troopers were called to investigate the shooting near Interstate 90 southbound near the outbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway.

Illinois State Police troopers and detectives determined shots were fired at a vehicle by people in a white Honda Pilot.

No one was injured in the shooting.

After an investigation, Alana Carroll, 21, and Kierra Henderson, 22, were arrested on attempted murder charges, according to Illinois State Police.
