2 women accused of stealing over $5,000 in products from Fairhope Publix stores

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Fairhope Police Department has issued felony warrants for two women they said stole over $5,000 in merchandise from three Publix stores.

37-year-old Cristina Pantellica, of Washington, and 18-year-old Alondra Badanac, of Texas, are accused of the same crime in Mississippi, where they’re in custody, according to a Facebook post from FPD.

The post said investigators were able to identify the two women using the internet and “collaborating with multiple agencies who are also investigating the theft ring originating from California.”
