2 WNY restaurants named in Yelp’s 2024 U.S. Top 100 list
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two Western New York eateries were recognized on the national level after being named in Yelp’s Top 100 U.S. Restaurants 2024 list.
The Top 100 list was determined after Yelp “analyzed user submissions to determine the top restaurants by ratings, number of reviews, and volume of submissions, and finalized the rankings with the expertise of our Community Managers,” according to the website.
The Western New York restaurants featured were:
69. Manito Taco Shop – Lockport
Yelp said the Niagara County Mexican restaurant, which used to be a food truck, has been “racking up the 5-star reviews” and that its most popular items include the barbacoa taco, chicken quesadilla and veggie taco salad.
91. Anchi A La Carte – Amherst
The woman-owned Vietnamese restaurant prides itself on “traditional dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients,” according to Yelp. The dishes mentioned in Yelp’s list included the Vietnamese pork noodle soup and Anchi special vermicelli bowl.
