2 Stark County men facing murder, arson charges over man's death in burning Canton home

CANTON ‒ Two men are facing murder and arson-related charges tied to the death of a man found in his burning home.

Corey E. Bulstrom of Louisville is charged with aggravated murder and complicity to aggravated arson in connection with the death of a Frank Campbell, who was found dead in a burning home May 1.

Salvatore A. Morris of Canton is charged with complicity to aggravated murder and complicity to aggravated arson in the same incident.

Canton police arrested Bulstrom, 29, and Morris, 31, on Monday. Both are being held in the Stark County Jail. They are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Canton Municipal Court.

Frank Campbell, 66: Investigators identify man found dead in burning Canton house

Canton police criminal complaints allege they helped set fire to the home in which Campbell, lived, causing his death. The 66-year-old was found dead in a burning home at 200 Lincoln Ave. NW.

The charges against Bulstrom say he aided or abetted an uncharged suspect in setting the fatal fire. No motive for Campbell's death is listed in the court filings.

Authorities: Canton house fire where dead body found was 'intentionally set'

Canton Fire Department Division Chief Steven Henderson said Tuesday that he cannot speak about the case because it remains under investigation.

A Canton police spokesman said any information would have to come from the fire department because it conducted the investigation.
