I’m sure the people of Hong Kong and China are glad that gun ownership is highly regulated by the state and that the majority legal of arms resides with those that use them responsibly - government.
"Cheung said Beijing fully supports the "one country, two systems" framework that gives Hong Kong freedoms and rights not enjoyed on the mainland. The system was implemented when the former British colony returned to Chinese rule in 1997. " The Chinese deny reality as Taiwan does not follow mainland China's government. Taiwan is a multiparty representative democratic republic whose head of state is the president. So it is Two county three systems framework. Ignoring or denying something does not make it true unless you are under permanent Communist rule.
Notice the clickbait title. Yahoo is that desperate to cause divide they are using events from other countries.
I am Q
Once people get a taste of democracy, there's no turning back.
Not to critique China and how they run their government, but hard to understand why the American liberal party is fighting so hard for socialism? A country disarming it's people, controlling thoughts and speech has it's down sides. Personally, and not always happy with decisions made, I will except, and prefer a democratic free society.
Obviously China is dealing with unarmed "Subjects" not armed "Citizens".
Amazing how this story has only 70 comments but a story about how a news anchor won't use a certain word about trump has 4000 comments.
I like Yahoo's super click bait title, hoping people won't read the article and just think it happened here in the US.
It is sad that no one is stepping up to defend these people, where is the EU and UN, these people are fighting for there freedoms, but the world is to afriad of China to step in...I am pretty sure that is why the UN and EU were created, to help people who cannot help themselves. In the next 5 years China's communist government will take full control of Hong Kong and the world will sit back and watch as these residents of Hong Kong are stripped of there freedoms and communist China keeps expanding its reach of power.
I am Q
Pay attention America, people don't measure their freedom until they lose it.
Amazing that while some people here are pushing socialism, so many other people around the world are fighting against it.
this will not end well and China will establish complete control of Hong Kong. Welcome to Communism, and this should be a lesson learned by the Snow Flakes in the USA.
