2 shot at Disabled American Veteran’s hall near Muskegon

MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two women were hurt in a shooting near Muskegon early Sunday morning.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers with the Muskegon Township Police Department were sent to the Disabled American Veteran’s hall, located at 2415 E Laketon Ave., after receiving reports of shots fired.

The Muskegon Township Police Department said that two women were shot during a private party. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
