2 seriously injured in southwest Kansas crash

GRAY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — Two people were seriously injured in a crash in southwest Kansas Monday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at 2:20 p.m., a 17-year-old girl was driving a 2023 Ford Super Duty northbound on 2 Road at Kansas Highway 144. With her were two 19-year-old girls and a juvenile.

At the same time, a 51-year-old man from Liberal was driving a 2012 Peterbilt hauling a trailer eastbound on Kansas Highway 144.

The KHP says the driver of the Ford did not stop at the stop sign and hit the Peterbilt.

Wichita man seriously injured in rollover crash

The driver of the Ford and one of her 19-year-old passengers had possible injuries and were taken to a hospital. The other 19-year-old passenger had suspected serious injuries and was taken to a Garden City hospital. The status of the juvenile is unknown.

The driver of the Peterbilt had suspected serious injuries and was taken to a Dodge City hospital.
