2 people injured after vehicles collide, strike parked school bus

Two people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle collision involving a school bus in Scarborough Tuesday, Toronto police say.

Officers were called to the area of Midland Avenue and Kingston Road just before 11 a.m.

Police said a parked school bus was struck after two vehicles initially became involved in a collision.

Toronto paramedics say a woman with life-threatening injuries and a man with serious injuries were rushed to hospital. No other details have been released at this time. Two other adults were assessed on scene for injuries but weren't taken to hospital.

No children were on the school bus at the time of the crash, investigators said.

Roads in the area are closed as police investigate the incident.
