2 NYPD cops injured in vehicle accident responding to gunshots in the Bronx: police

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Two NYPD officers were injured in a vehicle accident while responding to an incident in the Bronx on Monday, according to authorities.

The officers were responding to a call of shots fired, police said. The officers hit a building near Webster Avenue and 165th Street, according to officials.

The officers were taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Their conditions were not disclosed.
