The school said a police report was immediately filed with the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) after the threat was made.

Out of an abundance of caution, Currey Ingram school officials decided to cancel school due to its proximity to CPA. The threat against CPA remains under investigation.

In an email sent to CPA parents, school officials referenced to the Covenant School shooting, stating they understand the incident brings up “difficult emotions.” In fact, Wednesday, March 27 will mark a year since three students and three staff members were killed in the school shooting.
