2 men hospitalized after North Las Vegas shooting

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Two men injured and hospitalized with gunshot wounds on Wednesday appear to be connected to the same shooting, according to North Las Vegas police.

Officers responded to a north valley hospital around 4 p.m. after an 18-year-old man arrived suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was later taken to another hospital for treatment, police said.

As officers were investigating that incident, a 16-year-old man arrived at another hospital with a gunshot wound. His injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. Investigators believe that both victims are related to the same shooting investigation that had originally occurred in the area of Wilkinson Way and Dillon Avenue.

The shooting is an ongoing investigation that detectives believe was an isolated incident.
