2 injured in vehicle vs. MnDOT truck crash Friday morning

Apr. 19—NEW HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, Minn. — Two people were injured in a crash on Friday morning, April 19, 2024, near Dakota.

A 2021 Jeep SUV was traveling east on Interstate 90 when it collided with a Minnesota Department of Transportation truck with a crash trailer attached, according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report.

The driver of the Jeep, Randall Hall Kevin, 20, of Tinley Park, Illinois had non-life threatening injuries. Kevin was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. A passenger, Arianna Nicole Soco, 20, of Hammond, Indiana also had non-life threatening injuries. Both were transported to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.

The driver of the MnDOT truck, Camron John Sylling, 23, of Eitzen and passenger Donald Ray Bollman, 51, of La Crescent were not injured in the crash.

The Winona County Sheriff's Office, Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance and Nodine Fire Department also responded to the crash.
