2 found dead in north Phoenix home identified as Christian Parra and Jazmine Gonzalez

Two people were found dead inside the garage of a north Phoenix home Monday and have been identified as a part of an ongoing investigation.

Phoenix police said the victims, 32-year-old Christian Parra and 23-year-old Jazmine Gonzalez, were found dead in a home near 16th Street and Union Hills Drive.

Around 10 a.m., officers received an unknown trouble call and arrived on the scene to speak with fire personnel who had found the two already dead inside the garage, according to officials.

The cause of the victims' death was unknown, and the investigation remained ongoing as detectives waited for the results of the post-mortem exams from the medical examiner.
