2 displaced after fire rips through Fremont home

(BCN) — Two people were displaced Sunday after a fire ripped through a residence in Fremont, according to authorities. Just after 3 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a house fire on Truman Place.

Upon arrival, heavy smoke could be seen billowing from the property. Within 20 minutes, the Fremont Fire Department extinguished the blaze, which was contained to the property and no other structures.

Man stabbed in front of San Francisco church 

Two occupants were able to get out before the fire department arrived, but the home sustained extension damage and they are now displaced. One resident sustained injuries that are not life-threatening.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
