2 Dead and Multiple Injured in Texas Dance Studio Shooting

Four Dead in Seattle-Area Mall Shooting, Suspect on the Loose

Two people were killed and multiple others injured during a recent shooting at a Fort Worth, Texas, dance studio, the Associated Press reports.

It was not immediately clear what time the shooting occurred or where on the property, but police said Saturday they responded to Studio 74 and found one person dead outside, with multiple others hospitalized, according to the AP.

A second person died from his injuries, police said.

"Chairs and assorted garbage," including liquor bottles, were also seen outside the building Saturday morning, according to the AP.

Studio 74 is a nonprofit that "brings dance programming to underserved communities and the general public to reach audiences and participants of all ages, abilities, ethnicities, and socio- economic backgrounds," according to its website.

Owner Laura Reyna tells PEOPLE that the studio "had no involvement in the shooting," which took place during an "unauthorized" event at the space.
