2 arrested for drug possession in Barnwell Co.

BARNWELL COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – As a result of a narcotics investigation by Barnwell County Investigators, Todd Hammett and Sylvia McNeil were arrested and transported to Barnwell Co. Detention Center.

They were charged with the following:

Todd Hammett Charges:

  • 3x- Distributions of Narcotics (Weed & Methamphetamine)

  • 2x- Trafficking Methamphetamine (197.9 grams & 18.5 grams)

  • 1x- Possession with Intent to Distribute (PWID) Marijuana 1st Offense

  • 1x- PWID Fentanyl 1st Offense

  • 1x PWID Heroin 1st Offense

  • 1x- PWID Sched. I-III Controlled Substances 1st Offense

  • 1x- PWID Sched. V Controlled Substances 1st Offense

Sylvia Michelle McNeil Charges:

  • 2x- Trafficking Methamphetamine (197.9 grams & 18.5 grams)

  • 1x- PWID Marijuana

  • 1x- PWID Fentanyl 2nd Offense

  • 1x- PWID Heroin 2nd Offense

  • 1x- PWID Sched. I-III Controlled Substances 2nd Offense

  • 1x- PWID Sched. IV Controlled Substances 2nd Offense
