2 arrested, 1 wanted in Polk County after police find liquid meth

POLK COUNTY, Texas (KETK) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said a felony warrant led to the arrest of two people from Livingston on Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance. Police continue to search for a wanted man.

According to a release, the sheriff’s office narcotics division was assisting patrol on a felony warrant service for Samual Dwayne Brumlow in the Wilson Lake Estates subdivision. While executing the arrest warrant, evidence obtained by detectives led to a search warrant.

During the investigation, authorities found 9 ounces of liquid methamphetamine.

William Eric Lafferty, 53 of Livingston, and Veronica Clarisee Williams, 48 of Livingston, were arrested at the scene for possession of a controlled substance. A mugshot of Williams was not immediately available.

Authorities did not find Brumlow and is currently wanted by the sheriff’s office for possession of a controlled substance.
