2-alarm fire burning at family residence in San Jose

(KRON) — There is a two-alarm fire at a residential building in San Jose, the San Jose Fire Department confirmed on Friday.

The fire is burning at a family residence with multiple stories near Nature Ct in San Jose.

The fire occurred at about 2:50 p.m., fire officials said. Traffics is impacted on Santa Teresa Blvd Eastbound near Cottle Road. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

As of 1:30 p.m., one patient had been transported with minor injuries. Fire officials said the Red Cross had been contacted to assist displaced residents.
