19-year-old fatally stabbed over parking spot in the Bronx: police sources

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A 19-year-old was fatally stabbed on Thursday after a dispute over a parking spot in the Bronx, according to police sources.

The incident occurred near Inwood Avenue and Featherbed Lane at 8:23 a.m., when the suspect, Vladimir Lopez German allegedly stabbed the victim, later identified as Dominic Aguilera, in the chest after an argument, authorities said.

After the fatal stabbing, Aguilera died in his father’s arms, sources said.

At the time of the incident, Aguilera had just gotten home and was looking for a parking spot, sources said. His family is well-known in the community and has lived at the Bronx residence for years, sources revealed.

German, 45, was arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of weapon, according to the NYPD.

It is unclear who initiated the confrontation.
