180 Evacuated From Wildfire in Eastern Spain

A forest fire in eastern Spain had burned some 2,470 acres by Monday, April 15, local media said, after breaking out the day before.

About 180 people had to be evacuated after the fire started in the rural municipality of Taberna, in southern Valencia.

Valencia’s emergency services reported a “complicated” night for firefighters as temperatures didn’t drop as much as expected.
