18-wheeler rolls over on Highway 21 in Bastrop County; Delays expected during cleanup

BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Drivers traveling on Texas State Highway 21 in Bastrop County should expect delays Tuesday as crews clean up a scene where an 18-wheeler rolled over.

The Bastrop County Emergency Services District No. 2 said on social media at 8:42 a.m. that crews were responding to an 18-wheeler rollover on Hwy 21 near Electric Avenue.

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) said there were no fatalities. It’s not clear if any injuries were reported.

The ESD said cleanup would be an extended process and advised drivers to slow down and use caution through the area.
