Police identify 18-year-old killed in Hyde Park shooting

Police have identified the 18-year-old who died following a shooting in Hyde Park early Saturday morning.

At roughly 3:30 a.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Dana Avenue near Withrow High School for a report of a person shot, according to news release from Cincinnati police.

Upon arrival, respondents located Lamon Wiggins suffering from gunshot wounds. He was then transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Before the shooting, police said that there was a gathering of around 50 people from Friday night into the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police have not said if they have a suspect.
