18-year-old arrested in Arden Fair Mall shooting on Black Friday that killed 2 teens

An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the Arden Fair Mall shooting on Black Friday that left two teenage brothers dead, Sacramento police said on Monday. 17-year-old Sa'Quan Reed-James and 19-year-old Dewayne James Jr. were killed in the attack at the mall. Family paid tribute to the Reed brothers and called for justice during a vigil over the weekend. Sacramento police identified the alleged shooter as Damario Beck. "Based on the preliminary investigation, the shooting resulted from a verbal altercation between two groups of people that were known to each other from prior interactions," Sacramento police said on Twitter.
