16-year-old seriously injured in North Side shooting

CHICAGO — A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting on the North Side Wednesday night.

The boy was walking on a sidewalk in the 5700 block of North California just after 9:40 p.m.

He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body, according to police.

Wendy’s worker shot through drive-thru on South Side

A friend dropped him off in serious condition to Swedish Covenant Hospital.

Around 550 employees across autonomous vehicle company Motional have been laid off, according to information taken from WARN notice filings and sources at the company.
