16-year-old girl killed in Parkway Village shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police say a 16-year-old girl is dead after a shooting in Parkway Village.

Tuesday night just after 11 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 3300 block of Castleman Street. They found a female juvenile with a gunshot wound.

She was taken to Le Bonheur in critical condition. Police reported Thursday morning that she did not survive.
