16-year-old boy disemboweled in horrific stabbing near his Bronx high school

A 16-year-old student was clinging to life Tuesday after he was disemboweled in a stabbing outside his Bronx high school, police and sources said.

The teen, a student at the Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music, got jumped by about five people on Jerome Ave. and W. 195th St. in Kingsbridge Heights just after school dismissal around 2:05 p.m., cops and sources said.

During the fracas, the boy was stabbed in the stomach.

A construction worker watching from an upper floor of a nearby building watched as the attackers ran off.

“He was stabbed, lying in the street face-up,” said the man, who did not want to be named. “A guy jumped out of his car, tried to help him. He was screaming, ‘Oh my god! Oh my god!’”

“He was telling people not to touch him,” the man recalled. “When they put him in the ambulance, it didn’t look good.”

The victim was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was fighting for his life Tuesday evening.

There were no immediate arrests.
