15-year-old stabbed by stranger in Aurora: Police

DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department investigated a stabbing that seriously injured a teenager Friday night.

The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was expected to survive. The victim initially went straight to a hospital, where the incident was then reported to police.

It was determined that the stabbing happened in the are of South Peoria Street and East Archer Place.

The victim told police an unknown man approached him and demanded his cell phone. The suspect then stabbed the victim and fled the area.
