146 pounds of marijuana, $104K cash seized after search warrant served at San Jose home

(KRON) — A major drug bust occurred at a San Jose home, involving large amounts of marijuana and cash. The San Jose Police Department seized 146 pounds of marijuana, $104,000 in cash and three pistols, SJPD Chief Paul Joseph announced Tuesday on X.

The search warrant was served around noon on April 4 after SJPD launched an investigation into illegal marijuana sales. The home is located on the 100 block of North 33rd Street.

A man was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale, according to SJPD. A photo posted on Joseph’s X account of the cash and drugs recovered can be seen below.

The home where the search warrant was served is located about a 10-minute walk from Plata Arroyo Park.
