14-year-old, 15-year-old arrested in connection to fatal Osprey Avenue shooting, Sarasota police say

Sarasota Police officers have arrested two teens in connection to a fatal Thursday night shooting.

A 14-year-old and 15-year-old boy, both from Sarasota, were arrested in connection to the shooting near the intersection of 31 Street and Osprey Avenue. A 28-year-old man was shot just after 10 p.m. and died from his injuries.

Both teens are facing murder charges.

Sarasota Police investigators are still asking the public for information about the shooting. Those with information about the case, can call Detective Fergus at 941-263-6070.
