12 units damaged in South Nashville apartment fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An overnight fire at a South Nashville apartment complex led to at least a dozen units being damaged, officials said.

Crews with the Nashville Fire Department were sent to the Axis Apartments in the 300 block of Glengarry Drive at approximately 12:17 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 to respond to reports of a fire.

According to officials, the fire started on the third floor and around a dozen units were damaged in the blaze.

Fire personnel said no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
