14-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy were injured in separate shootings on Sunday in Milwaukee

Milwaukee police are seeking information on the shooting deaths of two 15-year-olds in the city Saturday night.

A 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were injured in separate shootings on Sunday in Milwaukee, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

A 12-year-old boy was taken into custody in connection to the shooting of the 14-year-old. Police are continuing to seek a second suspect, who is unknown at this time. Police are also seeking an unknown suspect in the shooting of the 16-year-old.

Around 5:30 a.m. in the 6500 block of W. Sheridan Avenue, a 14-year-old boy was shot, according to Milwaukee Police. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a non-fatal injury.

A 12-year-old boy was taken into custody, police said. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

Police are continuing to seek a second suspect, who is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.

Around 5:20 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in the 3500 block of W. Center Street, according to police. He arrived at a hospital for treatment of a non-fatal injury.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation, police said. Police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
