12 Celebrities who made news: Sherlyn Chopra

There was seldom a day which passed by without these celebs hogging the limelight. Here’s what they did

Sherlyn Chopra took the nation by storm by becoming the first Indian to pose for the cover page of the iconic Playboy magazine. In an interview, when asked if she would have any objections to working in a porn film, Chopra was quoted as saying that if she got an offer for an adult film from a world famous director, she would not hesitate to do it. She has now been roped in as the leading lady of Rupesh Paul’s Kamasutra 3D.

The model-turned-actress regularly posts her nude photographs on a social networking site. She once wrote, "The soon to be b'day girl in the b'day suit." This was, according to Sherlyn, a gift to her fans on her birthday.

However, taking into account the explicit nature of the photograph, the site decided to remove her picture. A miffed Chopra wrote, "Did Twitter really delete my b'day pic???." However, the actress posted one more nude photograph. Responding to unfavourable comments from her fans over her stripping act, Sherlyn seemed unaffected and commented, "You can talk all u want. But my skin is very thick. I'm the leader of the crowd and my game is really sleek. I'm unstoppable!"

Sherlyn Chopra, who had also topped the trend charts, courtesy her nude pictures, also wanted the Indian government to honour her with the country's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, for her bold antics.
