The project will involve constructing broadband infrastructure along the trails.

“I am pleased that ARC decided to help expand broadband in Washington County,” Griffith said in a release. “The county has made it a mission to expand coverage to the unserved and under-served areas of the Virginia Creeper and Mendota trails. This $100,000 grant from ARC to help the county expand broadband services will benefit local businesses and tourists alike.”
