What 100 Calories of Halloween Candy Looks Like

Those "fun size" packages of Halloween candy are a mixed blessing. They do provide automatic portion control, but this time of year, there are multiple packages everywhere. To help you keep your consumption in check, we calculated the exact amount of 10 trick-or-treat favorites you can eat for 100 calories.

"It’s okay to treat yourself," says Maxine Siegel, R.D., who heads Consumer Reports’ food lab. "In fact, leaving room in your diet for some not-so-healthy foods can help you stick to healthy eating habits the rest of the time because you don’t feel deprived."

But it's a good idea to decide in advance to stick to 100 calories so that you don't go overboard. So whether you’re dipping into your kids’ Halloween candy stash or the office candy bowl, use this visual guide to keep tabs on how much you’re eating.
