Among 77 counties in Oklahoma, some stand out from the rest when it comes to resident income.

We looked at the data from the 2022 U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey five-year estimates to find Oklahoma's wealthiest counties.

Canadian County wealthiest in Oklahoma

Based on median household income, Canadian County came out on top in Oklahoma with $82,364.

Canadian County includes the cities and towns of Yukon, Mustang, Piedmont, El Reno, Union City and Calumet.

According to the 2020 Census, Canadian County grew by 33.6% and was the 27th-fastest growing county in the nation between 2010 and 2020. That Census found 154,405 people living in Canadian County.
