10 Pac-12 players selected in latest three-round 2022 NFL mock draft

The 2021 college football season has almost come to a complete end, with just the national championship game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs standing between us and the offseason.

When the offseason eventually does arrive, one of the main areas of focus will be the upcoming 2022 NFL draft, where a number of players will look to take the next step in their careers and continue on to the next level.

For the players in the Pac-12, there is a good chance that a number of them will hear their names called in the first couple of days. A new three-round mock draft from USA TODAY’s Draft Wire shows that a total of 10 guys from the Conference of Champions will be selected in the first two days, with a few of them coming in the first round. Here are the guys who were listed:

Draft Wire Takeaway:

If Pickett’s still on the board, he probably goes here. If not, the Texans will get to steal whichever edge defender doesn’t go No. 1, either Hutchinson or Thibodeaux. Either would be a huge win for Houston, and in this scenario, they land a high-upside player who was the consensus top pick for most of the last two seasons.

No. 11 — LB Devin Lloyd (Denver Broncos)

Draft Wire Takeaway:

The Broncos have multiple needs along the front seven, so this pick will about finding the best overall talent in that department. This scenario gives them plenty of strong options, but Lloyd should stand out among them. His rare combination of size, athleticism and instincts have made him one of the nation’s most impactful defenders.

No. 29 — WR Drake London (Kansas City Chiefs)

Draft Wire Takeaway:

Patrick Mahomes already has a terrifying tandem in Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, but adding another playmaker to the offense shouldn’t be out of the question. London’s combination of size, length and athleticism would make him the perfect addition to an already dangerous aerial attack.

No. 37 — DE Drake Jackson (Houston Texans)
