$10 Million scratch-off ticket sold in Alton, Illinois

ALTON, Ill. — A lottery ticket purchased in Alton, Illinois, was the winning ticket for $10 million from a scratch-off game called “$10 Million.” This is the first winner for the Illinois Lottery game.

The lucky winner waited until they got home to scratch off the $10 million prize, never expecting it in “10 million” years.

“Something about the $10 Million game stood out to me,” explained the lucky winner. “I wasn’t in a hurry to scratch it off.”

The $10 million winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s convenience store, located at 3499 Fosterburg Road in Alton, Illinois.

The winner plans to start a college fund for their daughter and buy a larger house with more garage space for vintage car shopping.

“Ultimately, I want to save most of this prize money and invest it. The most important thing is to enjoy life with our family and help provide for our kids and, hopefully later in life, our future grandkids.”

This is also a big win for Casey’s in Alton, as the store will receive a selling bonus of one percent of the prize amount, or $100,000.

The game has three $10 million top prizes, which means there are still two other top prizes available. In addition, the $10 Million game has 15 prizes of $1 million and the best odds to win $500 on any scratch-off ticket currently available in Illinois.

Most of the time, the state sets up games so that it has the best chance of winning; otherwise, it wouldn’t be a game. There are many different scratch-off lottery games, and the odds of winning depend on which game you buy. Each scratch-off game has different rules, odds, and prize systems.

Generally, the chances of winning a prize, even a small one, are better than the odds of hitting the jackpot.
