The $10 Million Dollar Fantasy Bras
The Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra was introduced in 1996, and its annual unveiling has been hotly anticipated ever since. Each year, one special model is selected to wear the new creation. The bras are designed in a mixture of materials, usually including dozens of diamonds, gems, and rubies. None of the bras has cost less than $1 million, and some have cost as much as $12 million.
While the runway presentation each year is a big event, the selection of which Victoria’s Secret Angel will wear the bra is the big surprise. Many models dream of becoming an Angel and walking in the Victoria’s Secret show, and being chosen to wear the Fantasy Bra is a huge honor. For 2017, Lais Ribeiro has received the accolade.
