10 hospitalized in NFTA bus hit-and-run
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The NFTA says one of its buses was hit by a car Monday night at Clinton and Hickory in Buffalo, sending 10 people to the hospital.
A passenger vehicle ran a red light and hit the bus around 11:30 p.m. before the driver fled the scene on foot, according to the NFTA. He later showed up at a hospital and was treated for his injuries.
The bus driver was among those hospitalized, but no one was seriously injured. The NFTA says the other driver was given a traffic summons for failing to stop at a red light.
