1 victim in Falkville shooting transported by air for medical treatment
Jan. 18—The victim in a shooting this afternoon near Falkville has been taken for medical treatment by air transport, Morgan County Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Swafford said.
Deputies responded to a shooting report in the 900 block of Pleasant Country Road, the Sheriff's Office reported on Twitter shortly before 5 p.m.
Deputies also responded to a secondary scene in the 1200 block of East Lacon Road, the office said. The road was temporarily closed.
Anyone in the area should use caution because of the emergency responder presence, the office said on its Twitter feed.
