A teenager has been arrested and two others are wanted in connection with the shooting death of an 11-year-old boy from Georgia, authorities said.

On Saturday, May 11, Osman Sesay Jr., 18, of Hiram, Ga., was arrested after a traffic stop and is being held in North Carolina pending extradition back to Georgia, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement shared to Facebook on Tuesday, May 14.

It’s unclear if Sesay has been formerly charged or if he's retained an attorney to speak on his behalf.

Two other suspects, Al-Hamid Ibrahim Kuyateh and Nazier Lloyd Anderson, both 19, have murder warrants issued for their arrests in connection with the case, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities said they should be considered armed and dangerous and that the U.S. Marshals Service is assisting in the apprehension of the suspects.
