Coroner identifies woman killed in Clifton crash

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the woman who died in a single-vehicle crash in Clifton on Thursday.

Amanda Campbell, 36, was pronounced dead at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the coroner’s sheet says.

The crash was reported on Clifton Avenue near McAlpin Avenue around 4 a.m.

According to Cincinnati police, a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox hit a Duke Energy utility pole.

Two people were in the vehicle and were transported to UC Medical Center with serious injuries, police said. However, Campbell did not survive.

The Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating several factors: seatbelts used, speed and impairment.
