1 injured in Southeast Portland stabbing incident

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are investigating after a person was injured in a stabbing in Southeast Portland early Saturday afternoon.

Just after 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the 8200 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue on a report of the stabbing.

On arrival, they found the injured person, who was then taken to the hospital.

The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

Officials say this was not likely a random attack nor did it involve a knife. However, they are still investigating and looking for potential suspects.
