1 injured in Baton Rouge shooting Friday night

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured one.

The shooting occurred in the 2500 block of 69th Avenue on Friday night.

BRPD stated that the victim sustained a wound “to his right buttock and the left hip.” The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.

Police said no suspect or motive has been identified in the case.

This is an ongoing investigation.
