1 hospitalized after rollover crash in Algoma Twp

ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — An 18-year-old was taken to the hospital after an early Monday morning rollover crash in Algoma Township.

Around 4:50 a.m., deputies with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office were sent to Northland Drive NE near 12 Mile Road NE for a rollover crash.

Dispatch said that a vehicle rolled and crashed into a telephone pole in the area. It’s unclear what led to the crash.

The driver, an 18-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital, the sheriff’s office said. Her condition is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
