1 driver dead after three vehicle traffic collision in southwest Bakersfield: BPD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A crash on Harris Road Wednesday afternoon left one person dead and two others injured.

On March 27, Bakersfield police responded to a three vehicle collision in the 6300 block of Harris Road, near Ashe Road. Just after 4:54 p.m., one female driver was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead later that evening. The other parties involved suffered minor injuries, according to Bakersfield police.

Police say the identity of the deceased will be released by the Kern County Coroner’s Office at a later date.
