1 dead, 2 injured in car crash in West Pullman overnight

CHICAGO — One person is dead, and two others are injured after a car crash in the city’s West Pullman neighborhood late Wednesday night.

According to police, the incident happened just before midnight at the corner of 119th Street and Ashland Avenue where a silver SUV crashed into a black Mercedes Benz SUV.

A 45-year-old man was inside the black Mercedes Benz SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene.

6-year-old boy pulled from Montrose Harbor in Chicago’s Uptown

A 27-year-old woman was also in the vehicle. She was taken to Christ Hospital with unknown injuries and is listed in critical condition.

The 40-year-old man inside the silver SUV was taken to Christ Hospital with unknown injuries and is in fair condition/

Police have not issued any citations for the collision as of yet. WGN is actively following the incident.
