1 dead, 1 injured in South Memphis shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man is dead and another is severely injured after a shooting in South Memphis Wednesday night, according to Memphis Police.

Officers responded to the shooting in the 1700 block of Valley Boulevard at 8:42 p.m. A man was pronounced dead on the scene and a second man was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
