1 dead, 1 hurt in 4-vehicle crash in Aurora

DENVER (KDVR) — One person was killed and another was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a four-vehicle crash in Aurora Friday night.

The Aurora Police Department said the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Airport Boulevard and 22nd Avenue.

APD said four vehicles were involved, one person was killed and one person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Airport Boulevard was closed for nearly four hours while police investigated the crash. Traffic was impacted on a few other nearby roads but all roadways have since been reopened.
